An Phat Company Limited was established in Ho Chi Minh City in 2012 as the Vietnam arm of the Saifen Drugs group. It markets pharmaceutical and OTC products in four categories across the half of the country where most of Vietnam’s medicine is bought.

The company
Based in the commercial capital, because that is where the trade is
Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s commercial hub, and it is where the country’s largest hospital network, its biggest pharmacy trade and the importers who supply both are concentrated. A company selling into the south, the central coast and the Mekong Delta has to be run from here.
An Phat has traded from Binh Thanh District since 2012. It carries over three hundred registered products in cardiac, gastro, surgery and skin care, and it sells them to a population of more than fifty million people.
The company is preparing to enter northern Vietnam. Until it does, this site does not claim it — the map on this page shows the north as an outline, not as territory.

Three companies, one owner
An Phat is the marketing arm. The other two make the products and hold the group.
A principal appointing An Phat is dealing with a Vietnamese company that has local staff and local relationships, with a manufacturer and a holding company standing behind it. For some products that matters little. For a first entry into Vietnam it matters a great deal.
